PARTNER OPERATION STATUS

Due to public health concerns related to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID 19), many of our partners have temporarily modified their hours of operation and/or breast care services. Pink the Basin continues to offer funding assistance through our partners, according to their required criteria. We encourage you to contact the hospital or our office at (432) 940-PINK (7465) with any questions or concerns. Detailed information for each partner can be found below:

YOU'RE NOT ALONE

Pink the Basin believes every woman should be able to have access to a potentially life-saving mammogram, regardless of her income. We have made it our mission to reach out to area health care providers, financially supplementing their ability to provide mammograms and prosthetics for women who have either inadequate insurance or none at all.

Are you struggling? Know that you are not alone. Reaching out and connecting to women who are going through similar circumstances can make all the difference in your breast cancer journey. Join a support group where it is safe to laugh, to cry, and to share your breast cancer journey without fear of judgment.

KNOW YOUR RISK

The National Cancer Institute recommends that women age 45 or older have screening mammograms every one to two years or as recommended by your physician. The American Cancer Society reports you are at high risk of having breast cancer if:

  • You are female
  • A close relative had breast cancer
  • You are older than 45
  • You have not had a full-term pregnancy
  • You had radiation to chest or face before age 30
  • You are overweight
